Work Experience

Much of my professional experience has been revolving around sales activities or educational and supporting activities. In the Netherlands, I have worked in various high end computer stores, the chain electronics chain Dixons, which could be compared to the I-store of yesteryear. To the flagship store of KPN in Den Haag, the largest telecom company in the Netherlands. At age 19 I got hooked on coding, HTML, CSS, and some add-ons like PHP or JQuery to make it more appealing or easier to use. This resulted in me being active as a freelance webdeveloper for a few years as well.

When I was 30 I got the opportunity to work for Google via vendors in Poland. So I have worked in the Google web technology support department for years. This is how I arrived in Poland. Later on, I also worked for the SaaS startup DataFeedWatch, which focused on data optimization, saving time, and increasing your success in places like Google Ads and META’s Instagram or Facebook Ads. And later on, I was responsible for the UK/NL market at a German rubber granular tile manufacturer where I helped with cash-to-order activities, customer advice, and SEO & localization for said markets.

Education

I was born and raised in the Rotterdam area and attended school, college, and university there. My education was focused on IT, content creation and media, and management and economics. So, in succession: Abeda IT college (MBO2), and later on “the Grafisch Lyceum” Desktop Publishing (MBO3) and media management (MBO4), followed by Commercial Economics (HBO) on the Hoge School Rotterdam or “HES.”
